Nancy and Beth arrived safely in Uganda at 11:47 am Chicago time (7:47pm Uganda time).
They have been traveling over 20 hrs and are excited to start their adventure.

purpose
Only 2% of children and youth with special needs are able to go to school in Uganda. 85% of working age youth and adults with disabilities are unemployed due to lack of job skills and discrimination. As a result, many will live a life begging for their survival. Our purpose in traveling to Uganda is to give hope and a fighting chance for a better life to the children at the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped (KSPH) and in the surrounding area. The team will provide services and train staff at KSPH in special education, physical therapy, and recreational therapy.
